Biography
As a partnership in life as well as violin making, Angela Hünig and Florian Zinkhahn share a deep passion for music and the art of making violins violas and celli. Both learned the basics of their craft at the renowned instrument making school in Mittenwald.
Florian then gained valuable experience in building new violins, violas and cellos in the workshop of Fridolin Rusch. Together, Angela and Florian deepened their knowledge of restoration and sound adjustment in the workshop of Mark Wilhelm (Switzerland).
After studying string instrument making at the Markneukirchen University of Applied Sciences and passing the master craftsman’s examination, they founded their own workshop in Eppingen (south-west Germany).
Their work is encouraged by the positive response from enthusiastic musicians and successes at international competitions. The continuous exchange with colleagues and participation in workshops and courses inspire them to constantly develop and perfect their art.
