Biography
Noel Burke’s bows are used internationally in the most renowned orchestras and chamber music ensembles and by some of the foremost soloists around the world.
His work has been awarded eight gold medals at international competitions including the Grand Prix de la Ville de Paris for violin bow and six gold medals for violin, viola and cello bows at two competitions of the Violin Society of America and he subsequently serves as a jury member at these same competitions.
He trained for one year under Charles Espey in Seattle, Washington, USA and for two years under Stéphane Thomachot in Paris, France where he lived and worked for five years.
He now works from his studio in Carlow town, Ireland.
