Ian McWilliams

A Canadian living in the beautiful town of Brandenburg an der Havel, Germany. He started his studies at West Dean College in 2002. After 3 years, he moved on to work for J.P.Guiviers managing their bow department ending in 2008. This led through Peter Biddulph to working for Frederic Chaudiere in Montpellier, France making modern violin, viola and cello till 2010. He is now focusing his attention on making modern violin, viola, and cello. He is a member of the British Violin Making Association and an award winning member of the Violin Society of America. With influence from the many great musicians in and around Berlin he strives to make beautiful sounding instruments.
