Jürgen Preyer

Apprenticeship in Mittenwald until 1996, work as double bass maker and violin maker in Hamburg, graduated in the Netherlands from Groningen Conservatory  (double bass). Since 2001 I run my own workshop with my employees doing most of the repairs and me doing the new instruments. After being inspired by English and Italian makers I now mainly focus on the Mittenwald style.
