Christiane Mitschke

Opposites attract: Large string instruments built by a relatively small violin maker, deep rumbling and soprano, plenty of wood and attention to detail. Here, predominantly double basses of various eras are created, from Violone in G or D to Viennese double basses and modern instruments. To lovingly craft and simultaneously create functional workhorses for musicians, that best describes my pursuit.
