In 2010 Niall completed the violin-making course in Newark. During his final year, Niall worked part time in Stringer’s violin shop in London and it was here that he started working on bows. Niall then joined Maison Bernard in Brussels serving an apprenticeship with Pierre Guillaume. Following that he spent nearly two years working with renowned bow maker Noel Burke.
He now has a workshop in Brussels. In 2018 Niall received two certificates of merit for craftsmanship from the Violin Society of America and in 2019 he was awarded 2nd place in the 2e Concours International d’Archeterie in Paris.
